Becoming an Active -Isolated Flexibility Technician presents the opportunity to offer this work direct from the Wharton's to the fitness and training professional. The work has enhanced their private practice and class instruction capabilities. This course introduces you to the foundation of all the Wharton Performance programs that continue to serve professional, Olympic and amateur athletes worldwide as well as the general public and people with specific musculoskeletal conditions.

The Flexibility technician course is a 16 hour intensive program designed to introduce you to Active-Isolated Flexibility. This method of preparing the musculoskeletal system for activity, re-establishing and maintaining joint range-of-motion, and initiating rapid recovery from physical activity or repetitive stress. This program is used by professional / elite athletes, recreational/competitive individuals as well as individuals with pre/post surgical challenges. You will learn routines for every joint of the neck, arm, hand, wrist, hip, shoulder, ankle and foot as an unassisted routine and how to assist others.
PART 1 (8 hours)
- Flexibility System I: Basic Hip and Trunk Protocol
- Flexibility System II: Basic Shoulder Protocol
- Flexibility System III: Basic Neck Protocol
- Flexibility System IV: Basic arm, wrist, hand, ankle and foot protocol

- Importance of Maintaining Flexibility
- Joint Range of Motion Standards
- Structural Integrity- The Basic Strengthening Protocol
- Contra-indicated or Questionable Techniques
- The Balanced System
